As a first post I pondered what to write. Should I do a really great tech article, something on leadership, a tech review or something else. What you are reading is what I fell on my heart. Church Tech UK is a new website that I hope will become a useful resource for the church here in the UK, maybe even further afield as well, but Church Tech UK or CTUK is more than just a website, a facebook page and a twitter account. Church Tech UK is something I have had on my heart for many years and now feels the right time to push. To push and see what opens.

When I think of church I think of community. All throughout the bible there are stories of communities of people living together and trying to serve the Lord the best they can. Things from time to time go pear shaped yet God is always there.

The vision for CTUK is the: equip, support, encourage, develop and resource. Throughout the UK there are both large and small churches, some who employ tech staff and others who are staffed by volunteers. CTUK’s vision is about building community where people can learn off each other, develop skills and get advise.

What you see on the website at the moment is the starting point, the basics. The intention is to grow, to develop, to build. If you feel called to get involved please get in touch as the saying goes many fingers make light work.
